Exciting progress at Greg Standard Legacy Park

Exciting progress is being made on Greg Standard Legacy Park, the new neighborhood park within the 51 West Subdivision.

The children’s play equipment is already in place, and construction is underway on the pickleball and basketball courts.

Best of all, the park connects directly to Wild Oak Condos, giving residents immediate access to recreation and green space.

The five-acre park, planned by MSA Professional Services and approved by the City in late 2022, was shaped through community input gathered at surveys, open houses, and public meetings. The final design blends favorite features from multiple concepts to create a true community hub.

When complete, the park will offer an accessible playground, multi-use paths, athletic fields, shaded picnic areas, bike racks, open green space, and a shelter with permanent restrooms.

With construction moving quickly, Greg Standard Legacy Park is on its way to becoming a lively gathering spot for families, neighbors, and visitors alike.
